Love πŸ’πŸ’“

“Marriage” this 1 word stirs so many feelings in every  individual. For some it’s the most beautiful unison of two beings who swear to never be apart even in death; and for some, well, it’s the most heart felt regret of their lives. For some, it is a dream; to get married, have kids and all the drama that follows. Again, for some, they’re better off without this over exaggerated funda of life. Some say only when you marry, is your life truly complete. And maybe, that could be true.
But really? Are we not as individuals complete on our own? Do we really need a girl or a guy to hold our arm each time something goes wrong or to share our happiness? We can do these things with the people we love right, by which I mean our friends and family? Is your life partner truly your soul mate? If you’re lucky, yes. But soulmates can be found even in that friend who has never left your side since the day you met. That colleague at work who is almost just like you and saves your ass whenever need be. Even a desolate stranger who commits random acts of kindness can become an influential person in your life and go on to become a soulmate  in ways we might not fathom then or even today, but maybe someday. We spend our entire lives looking for someone to love or rather someone who loves us back the same way we do and let’s be honest. Finding true love is rare and those who do are definitely fortunate.
And as much as I’ve admitted to a few close friends and family that maybe I won’t get married; maybe I don’t want to but again; maybe I will, who knows? I’d like to confess that it hasn’t always been like this. I have dreamt of getting married someday too and at times still do( maybe mom will relax now a bit πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜›) but I am not clinging onto it. Cause I don’t want to get married just for the sake of it. Only if I find that real someone who loves me like he’s never loved before and that’s all I ask. My friend laughed it off and said you know, it is not a movie or a novel where the love of your life is going to come proclaiming his love for you. Get your wings back on earth, she said. Well I sort of agree with her but just the idea of love itself, isn’t it hyped? Haven’t we all dreamt, at some point, of our prince charming to come on a white horse or for some in a silver Volvo? πŸ˜‹
I think we all fall for someone ridiculously at some point in our life, only to realize that it was so stupid and childish. And just so if you’re lucky enough, you will find someone ridiculously falling for you too πŸ˜‰Falling in love is one of the most overrated but I believe one of the most amazing feelings ever! I mean your emotions are heightened and you feel strongly( no you don’t turn into a vampire, hahaha πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜›) ( and that’s what they tell you right?) and in your heart, deep down; you know that this one person is just meant to be in your life. I mean isn’t that amazing? ❀
I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of love and after reading numerous love stories, I think I might just expect a little too much from that poor soul πŸ˜›Certainly love isn’t just what a girl and a boy share and even that smile on a child’s face, those tears of joy and concern on a mother’s face, a friend who asks you to inform him/her once you reach home, that soldier stationed at the border in spite of hostile conditions; all are acting out of love. Love for people around, for her child, for a friend, love for their motherland. Everyone’s fighting for something in life, something or someone that they love. After all, if we don’t fight for what we love, what good are we? Someone once said,” If love is dead, we’re lost and humanity should just pack it in.”
So love unconditionally and irrevocably. Cause it’s the only thing that’ll only multiply when expressed and spread smiles as much as you can. Love is contagious and if humans could just learn to show love to all of God’s wonderful creation, even in their own little way, the world would certainly be a better place. Because love makes you compassionate. It makes you happy and makes you want to make others around you happier. Love makes you kind and a kind heart wins hearts wherever it goes. The world needs more of this. We all do; because just like Ted Mosby said “Love is the best thing we do❀”

  3. Love is definitely a wonderful emotion and it should be selfless and unconditional, therefore, one should never expect anything in love. In love, there should be only giving and no expectation to get anything in return. Take the example of Radha and krishna, Radha and Krishna lovèd each other and are still remembered by one and all because their love was selfless and divine.
