Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light πŸ’«

Every time we visit a new place, we are filled with a different kind of enthusiasm to know about the place, it’s history, discover unexplored areas. When we think of travel, this is what most of us think of doing. We believe we will connect better with our inner self when we are surrounded by nature and clean air. Just the idea of it brings a face wide smile on our faces. We hear people speaking all the time about how while on a solo trip, they found themselves, found a way to be happy. But how many of them can say the same about being happy a week or let’s say a month back into their routine?

Now, while it is totally okay to lose(or actually try to find) yourself in serenity and beauty of nature. Love all that’s happening around and more than that, throw a happy and positive vibe.
But why do we look for our happy place in different places? Our happy place is right here with us, Always.

After all, being happy is a choice and even if hell broke lose in your life, you have the option to face it headstrong and smile through the pain or sulk about it and give up before even starting! I admit it isn’t easy to just take things as they come always. But isn’t that a better way to deal with things?

I can vouch it from personal  experience. This changed perspective literally saved me. It transformed me into a more happy person. Because my happiness doesn’t lie in a particular place or in other people’s choices or actions but solely by my decision. Again, I wouldn’t deny that I have not perfected it and sometimes still give in and react to situations in a way I probably end up regretting later, but it’s a practice driven process and I aim to ace it.

Happiness is a choice and just like you water your plants everyday, you’ve got to make that choice of being happy everyday

Some of you may find it hard to believe, but the truth remains none the less. In one of my earlier posts, I talked about giving out positive energies into the universe and the universe gives it back to you two fold. I was skeptical to believe this at first and I wouldn’t blame you if you do too. But again, from personal experience, I say this. “Whatever you want in life, be it fame, money, love, a new job or visiting that place that’s been on your bucket list for so long.  Just think that you’ve got whatever it is that you wanted. Imagine that you got it and are very happy.” Keep doing this everyday and eventually one day, the sun will shine brighter in your horizon. It worked for me and I’m sure it’ll work for you if you are persistent.

The things that you want will always find a way to come to you. Sometimes they may take a little detour but what you know is right for you( deep down in your heart) WILL happen. You’ve just got to ask and take a leap of faith. Remove the words, “no, never” and any sort of negation from your thoughts because the universe doesn’t understand negativity. ( Wouldn’t it be great if we could do that that too? πŸ˜‡)

PS: I’d love to hear your experiences if you guys try it or have already tried it πŸ˜Š

  2. Thats very true, happiness is not outside, it is within, but we have been searching it in places, people, things etc. If we wish, we can be happy always. Ya, and so very well said, give positive vibes to the world and you will get the same as return gift.
